Launch and Open Houses

As part of the kick-off of the TMP, the City held four open houses in four local malls from May 23-26, 2012.
The purpose of these open houses was to introduce the TMP, discuss opportunities and challenges that may be addressed throughout the TMP and receive feedback on draft Transportation Directions – a set of transportation planning principles, specific to Regina’s needs, which will guide the development of the TMP.
Over 800 people visited the open houses and provided invaluable information to the consultants. The following Open House Boards were presented at the open houses this past May.

  • Stakeholder Meetings – Series #1

In June 2012 over 50 stakeholders from various organizations were invited to attend the first of a series of stakeholder meetings that will be held at key points in the TMP process. This first round of meetings was intended to introduce these organizations to the project, discuss opportunities & challenges and received feedback on the draft Transportation Directions.

View the Engagement Summary Report, which summarizes what was heard at the open houses and stakeholder meetings.
